Allyson Weinstein-Rosen

Founder, Owner, & Speech Language Pathologist
Allyson Weinstein-Rosen is the owner and founder of A to Z Speech Therapy in Brooklyn Heights. She is a New York State licensed, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Allyson received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to receive her Master of Science, in Speech-Language Pathology at Hunter College School of Health Sciences. She started her career working at various hospitals with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, training and supervising graduate students and clinical fellows and working on interdisciplinary teams. She went on to work in a Special Education setting, treating children with speech, language, learning, and pragmatic language disorders, while also working as an undergraduate clinical instructor at Touro College and opening A to Z Speech Therapy in the fall of 2003.
Allyson provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to pediatric patients of all ages with various communicative and learning disorders. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology (AAPPSPA) as well as a certified Fast ForWord provider. Allyson enjoys collaborating with parents, teachers, doctors, and other therapists to provide an individualized and functional, whole-child approach to therapy. She has proudly assembled a dedicated team of therapists who provide the highest level of service to children of all ages.
Jennifer Basner

Speech Language Pathologist
Jennifer Basner holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University and a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Jennifer specializes in providing therapy to children who present with receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, deficits in social pragmatic skills, and articulation and phonological disorders. Her special interests include expanding language skills through play-based activities for early learners as well as working with individuals to improve social pragmatic language ability.
Jennifer Caron

Speech Language Pathologist
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland and her master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Northeastern University. She is a New York State licensed speech-language pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and a Certificate for Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) in New York. Jennifer has experience working in early intervention, private practice, and private school settings with children aged 0-21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, feeding disorders, articulation disorders, cognitive delays, and genetic disorders. She is passionate about working with children to improve their communication skills and improve their ability to functionally interact with others in their homes, schools, and communities.
Stephanie Moulketis Gajewski

Stephanie is delighted to join an amazing team at A to Z Speech Therapy! Stephanie is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist through ASHA and is licensed in New York and New Jersey. Stephanie also maintains certification as a Speech Language Specialist. She received her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from William Paterson University and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Stephanie brings with her, over ten years of experience working within various settings, including treating children (aged 1-16) in a private practice, as well as treating younger and older adults in their homes, and in rehabilitation and long-term care facilities. Stephanie strongly believes in utilizing active listening and humor (lots of laughing!) to allow for a comfortable environment for clients of all ages, where speech and language can be nurtured, to enable not only the maintenance of skills but development and improvement in these areas as well.
Shaina Smith
Office Manager
Shaina Smith is the Office Manager at A to Z Speech Therapy with administrative experience working for political campaigns, insurance companies, and non-profits. She studied Communication with a focus on Media and Journalism at SUNY Geneseo. She is happy to be a part of the A to Z Speech Therapy team and loves helping families provide care for their little ones!
